Do not send your loved ones to this facility. My husband and I were mislead and taken advantage of. Terrible communication was provided and family support barely exists. Have yet to see any paperwork that my husband signed off on while intoxicated. Do not trust this company. Hugest regret was choosing Valley Hope without doing prior research.

My brother stayed for drug abuse, which it did help with, but they taught him to blame everyone else for his decisions and he now lives his life hating his family and everyone close because this place told him nothing was his fault. They preached dilusion and ultimately made his mental health and general well-being worse because of it.

Very disrespectful to family members patients are allowed off property...would not recommend this circus to anyone not family oriented and encourages divorce

Nurses were excellent...acted like they actually cared. Food was excellent. Even though I didn\'t stay long (wish I had) overall ok experience.

Nurses were extremely friendly and tried to help make me comfortable. Lots of downtime. If you get in with a bunch that are serious about recovery, instead of young punks that have no clue what it\'s like to be messed up longer than they have been alive you\'ll be all good. Food is good and will help build some meat on your bones. Upsetting that they offer detox medicine on a as needed basis rather than weening you off and letting you get to work on real stuff.

They have great counselors who are well trained and they are there for their patients. It works if you work it! Only downfall is how expensive it is.

Motivation is a definite requirement and time wise there is limitations on how much motivation is provided. With consideration of time and other restraints, they have a lot to offer a willing recipient.

The caring provided by the staff reflects the mission of Valley Hope facilities. Treating people like human beings is the first rule to providing a trusting relationship that makes healing possible. The weaknesses are in the regulations foisted on the industry by insurances and managed care. The paperwork is so demanding that patient care often suffers due to lack of human ability to deal with the demands. Valley Hope has the best treatment philosophies of any I ever saw.
