I thought very highly of this place, my first stay was helpful. I relapsed and got the guts to go back for help... much worse honestly set me back in life wish I never went back. Second time all they care about is money, not you. I explained I had no insurance said ok, but then when I asked to be released so my bill could be payable in the future refused for “more treatment”. Not true they wanted more money, after I got out I lost my job explained this to the collection dept, no call back or follow up on what they said would do. Instead took $250 dollars out of my account leaving me more broke than I was. The best counselors have left to go to places that want to help you and not just take your money, which if they can’t get they are more than eager to call collections on you and let you know they will. I thought going back was the right thing, admitting I still needed help the right thing, and in the end once I start getting right they don’t care about you just your money.

Before my loved one passed from an Heroin overdose he went to multiple treatment centers in AZ and by far CVH was the best most effective. They medically detox, provide counselors and even do family therapy, family groups which was a huge key factor in his year of sobriety before he died.

I was a patient there recently, I think the small groups and the gender group were the most beneficial to me and the one on one session with my counselor because it gave you an opportunity to talk about your feelings in a small setting I think that was where I had the most growth. I thought all of the counselors Were outstanding, the food was great nice big portions and every meal was outstanding, I thought that the nursing and all of the staff were very attentive to our needs and the cup ceremonies were awesome for the most part. my counselor and she pulled feelings out of me, and gave me great advice that I am still using today. I have 59 days sober today and I live in a sober house that was recommended by

Chandler valley hope likes to tell people they are insured upon entry begin there treatment and then begin there treatment. These victims are confused at the time. This was the case with me. 2 weeks later they insisted I had agreed to self pay. Who does that when they are jobless. This place is a scam. Under staffed and rude.

This place saved my son life . My daughter went there to but in the middle of it , she had to go bc it didn\'t take her insurance but what she did get out of it she has Not used since. My son wakes up every day thinking who can he help today . He takes people there all the time. He helps them get insurance. Picks them up where ever and helps. I can\'t tell you how many detox or treatment centers I have sent them to . We moved from wa to az . Bc I thought if I got them out of wa they would stop but I was wrong. I am the happiest and the nost thankful mom a live today and the last 9 months . Thank you all in every dept for helping my son and the few days you helped my daughter . My babies are doing very good. I thank God for Chandler hope and the iop program and the clean and sober home my son went to. This is a miracle . God broke the chain of addiction w chandler valley hope help or visa versa. My son does the best he can every day for another day of being clean. I have my children back.

Strong 12 step foundation. Counselors were all in recover with substantial sobriety. Families are encouraged to participate. Treatment is not forces, you participate because you want to. It was a great experience. Again, because it is based on 12 step programs, it puts the ownership and responsibility of my treatment on me. They are there to guide, support, and show me the way, but at the end of the day, I have to do the work.

Poor environment to get sober in. Hardly any security. Situated in a dumpy, run-down area of town, not at all upscale, as they advertise. Very mis-leading. Lack of support and personal attention.

They were knowledgeable. However, the open facility was a downfall. As a mother of an addict, this facility helped the whole family.

Promotes strong support systems among those in treatment. They allow family participation. The food was better than expected. Their treatment is centered around twelve steps. They do not offer any other options than the twelve step programs. As a non religious person, this made it difficult to fully invest in the program. They also charge way too much, and add superfluous charges in the hopes patients won't notice. Most substance abuse treatment facilities focus solely and 12-step based treatment. This form of treatment has been shown to be wholly ineffective. Chandler Valley Hope should offer other options such as SMART Recovery.

My husband was sent here by recommendations. Not only was it IMPOSSIBLE to coordinate with facilitators to receive updates, progress reports, etc. but the staff is very rude. ... It is not effective. Not useful. Not worth the effort. Seriously. If you have somebody battling addiction send them somewhere else.

I loved CVH. I have been to a number of different rehab centers unfortunately and I have never experienced the level of care that I did at CVH! You can tell that the staff actually cares and it's not just an act. The open campus was perfect for me to learn how to deal with real temptations that I will undoubtedly have to face while being able to return to a safe place in the process. They do not keep you in a bubble and just push you out the door after a month. The food is incredible, so much so that patients are known to come back after graduating just for the food. And to visit everyone as well. I felt 100% comfortable trusting that CVH and the staff had my best interest at heart the entire time. The care provided was very catered to the individual, recognizing that every addict's past and journey forward is different. Each treatment plan is specialized to the specific patient and their needs. I would absolutely 1000% recommend CVH to anyone who is ready to change their life once and for all!!

I had attended an AA meeting that my mom arranged for me. The ladies there recommended that I go there to detox and get some help. I was more than pleased with everything the facility did to help me. Staff, accommodations and meals were all top notch. Went to another facility for IOP therapy. Could not re-enter because I lost my job and had no insurance.

This is one of the few "open campus" rehab centers in Arizona. This is not for everyone. You have to WANT to better your life for this center to work for you. There is a lot of freedom at this center which requires a lot of self control to stay on track. Again, this is a center for the person who WANTS to quit the addictive behavior.

What I learned in rehab gave me a great start on my recovery. CVH changed my life, my thinking and gave me the tools I need to live a healthy and happier life. I landed at CVH simply because the social worker where I detoxed thought it was a good place. My sponsor brought in an AA meeting during my stay in rehab. I asked her about Chandler Valley Hope and she said if I had the chance to go there, do whatever was necessary to get a bed there. She/they saved my life!
