Very Good
The overall therapeutic experience and treatment included in this facility was very successful, although it was difficult times and bad things to see. Great experience, attention and cleanliness all this gives a sense of security. Prices are a little high In any case prices should be reduced slightly That would be great.

They were mean and didn't offer physical health options like a gym, but they were very good at what they did. Sober 21 years now.All staff was in recovery. They were well-trained in dealing with high-functioning addicts and alcoholics so they didn't fall for the usual bs. They were very strict. I think that's important with addicts. Women had to be in groups of three to go on errands, men only groups of two. And they didn't support exercise at all. I was a runner and all I wanted to do was run and I had to get two other women to come with me to the track to make that happen. No gym. I don't think there needs to be a bunch of spa stuff but basic access to exercise is a necessity bc there's a lot of energy in early sobriety.

I personally spent 80,000$ + on this autrocity only to come out with more problems than I went in with. I only regret not having a mrans to document some of the things that I witnessed there. Just PLEASE if you are wanting help sadly you need to be careful whom you get it from. The price tag does not guarentee the quality of care. Also gl and take care to any on the road of recovery!

Went in for an "assessment." There were 8 ppl in my assessment group. Some ppl had minor issues like taking their physician's prescribed medications and some ppl had true addictions. Nevertheless, Talbott recommended 90 day ($30,000) treatment for every single person irregardless of the magnitude of their substance use. I would say they have an unethical financial incentive to make this one glove fits all recommendation. Do NOT come here for an assessment - the whole 3.5 days seemed more like an interrogation than medical evaluation. Also, the ppl at Talbott for long term 90 day treatment are practically in jail - cannot go to gym unless you are accompanied by another person. Cannot go out of living complex unless you have three ppl together.

Excellent
Talbott offers comprehensive in depth treatment for addiction with medical supervision. Dual Diagnosis a specialty. Staff is top notch. Different approach from many others as its not in a bubble. Residents live off campus in apartments which are supervised, and go to treatment at Talbott during the day. They go off campus for AA meetings daily,, and make use of fitness facilities at a local quality gym. The Young Adult program is 90 days which is a lot longer than many they make use of every single minute. Sometimes admin. may be a bit disorganized regarding billing or into to parents but considering everything they do right its not a real problem. We are eternally grateful to Talbott because they have literally given our son back to us. He is the person he was before his addiction, but better as he had a new perspective on his life and how he relates to others whether its peers or family. We were referred to Talbott by a trusted friend who went there as an adult but our son is in the Young Adult program. We really shopped around in spite of the rec and are so grateful that we decided on Talbott.

This facility was referred by a local therapist. It saved my son\'s life. The counselors and Dr.s has a way with the young adults. They trust him and are open to taking his advice. Talbott offers everything you could possibly need to move past the addiction. I liked the fact that they offer career services, counseling sessions and optional programs. The support for the family is really good too. . The program is designed to not only help you overcome the addiction but to improve upon yourself. To be a better person after you leave than before you entered. I am forever thankful to Talbott. I know that my son was given the tools to be able to thrive in the outside world...

My ex-husband spent 3 months at Talbot Atlanta. He had moved out of our home to \"find himself\" a few months earlier. Even though he was not to have a phone at Talbot, he called me daily from his room. After being there a couple of weeks he told me he was filing for divorce and he did. I could not believe that a rehab facility would support an alcoholic to go ahead with a divorce after being sober for 2 weeks. I was told that this was happening during a conference call while I was at work. I spoke with one of his counselors by phone and the things he said and what I said were completely different. I don\'t think all your people were trained or experienced enough for this narcisistic alcoholic. When he returned home he showed me papers that said he had been diagnosed as narcisistic. He couldn\'t believe it. Obviously I do not think his treatment was effective. He just wasted $30,000. He just had an expensive vacation where he was the center of attention.

Talbott is absolutely the best. Everyone there really cared for the patients. It seemed like more than just a job to them. I owe Talbott Recovery my life. I had tried another treatment center but decided on Talbott when I knew I needed to stop. The great thing they did is get to the underlying reason why I wanted to use, not just tell me stay sober for a day and keep doing that day after day.

Great
They provide great counseling, openness, effectiveness, and understanding. Rooms could be better, but I understand the need of it being open. Same with visitor policy, but there's an important need for separation of family during certain points of recovery. close family member went here for treatment, and had no relapses after coming home. Felt like a new man and was able, with the help of counselors, to address the inner turmoil that drove him to drugs

My own doctor/psychiatrist basically (not saying he did) but basically stopped giving advice and hung up on me. The almighty dollar! That\'s all these people care about. Do not go to them. Accommodations and facility will woo you on a tour but it is utter hell and I gained NOTHING in two weeks.

I wasn't a liar until I walked through their doors. truly believe that Talbott Atlanta was a thorn in my recovery. To the few counselors there who are unbelievable professionals, I apologize for this review. I hope you are all able to find better opportunities. To the potential patient, please research other options. I would NEVER go back to this place, and I would never recommend this place. Sorry, but honest recovery is important.
