Shauna joined Roxbury in 2011, after having worked in various hospital administration roles in the Philadelphia area and for a brief time as the interim Clinical Director at Roxbury in 2009. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from The Pennsylvania State University and her Master’s degree in Social Work from Temple University and is a licensed social worker in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Her career has allowed her the opportunity to work in a direct care capacity with women and children of abuse; lesbian/gay/bisexual/transgender/questioning youth; children, adolescents and adults with various substance abuse and mental health issues in residential, inpatient and outpatient settings. Currently, in her role as the Chief Executive Officer she has oversight for the day-to-day operations of Roxbury Treatment Center.More
Fauzia is a board certified psychiatrist in general and geriatric psychiatry and has been Roxbury’s Chief Medical Officer since 2007. Before coming to Roxbury she held positions with other acute hospitals in the Philadelphia area. She completed her fellowship at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia and residency at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York after graduating with honors from Fatima Jinnah Medical College in Pakistan. She has served on many boards and committees throughout her extensive career, including Pennsylvania Psychiatric Society and the Committee on Women Physicians. Currently she is a consultation psychiatrist with the Dauphin County Crisis Intervention Center.More
