Betty Bartos, MS, NCC, LCPC
Director of Community Recovery Integration and Support

Betty Bartos is the Director of Community Recovery Integration and Support. She is a National Certified Counselor responsible for oversight and management of long-term adult mental health services, including case management, residential, psycho-social rehabilitation and dialectical behavior therapy. Bartos has been with Rosecrance since 1990. She earned her B.S. from Slippery Rock University and her M.S. in psychology, with an emphasis on community mental health, from Western Illinois University.

Thomas Wright, MD, Addictionologist
Chief Medical Officer/Senior Vice President of Medical Affairs

Dr. Thomas Wright oversees all medical operations for Rosecrance. He specializes in working with adolescents who have a co-existing or secondary diagnosis in addition to an addiction disorder. He has more than 20 years’ experience in the field. Dr. Wright is certified as a child and adolescent psychiatrist by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and in addiction medicine by the American Society of Addiction Medicine. He served on the faculty at Northwestern Medical College in Chicago and at The University of Illinois College of Medicine at Chicago and Rockford.

They like most rehabs are in bed with Alcoholics Anonymous. They force people to go to, I think, 3 meetings a week. Some people don\'t buy into AA. And you would think professionals would subscribe to a behavioral model instead of the AA disease model.
