I lost 15 pounds here. There were cats crawling everywhere outside the window. Wasn\'t the best food.

Clinician was young and able to relate to my daughter. Strictly 12-step. Would have preferred more education in dual- diagnosis. It served its purpose at the time of need.. Got her into treatment away from the situation. Relapsed 3 days after discharge. Program would benefit from a new approach. Everyone's experience is different. Also depends on the patients willingness to change. Do your research ..

This place was by far the worst rehab ever. I was constantly hungry there, the staff was horrible, they never took anything serious. It was a nightmare. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I think I rather be in jail than there. I literally have nightmares about this place all the time and get sick when I think about it. Also, they don\'t tell you that its a program so you\'re stuck there for atleast 35 days. And if you get signed out you pay out of pocket for your treament, your insurance wont cover it. Its a complete joke, theyre money hungry and dont care about your recovery at all.

Going here was one of the worst experiences I\'ve had. Everything about this place is terrible. More like an episode of scared straight. Staff was ridiculous, meals where below subpar and had you hungry 24/7. Treatment plans where a joke. Relapsed one day after leaving.

Do the kids here get to communicate at all with one another as far as the opposite sex goes? Is there anyway for the females to communicate with the males or vise versa and/or even if not permitted does/can it happen anyways?

I would not recommend sending your child here. The facility is extremely disorganized, poor nutritional foods (and hardly fed), and poor accommodations. You only sit there reading articles/filling out worksheets, rather than learning hands-on with learning to grow mentally, emotionally, physically, spiritually, and socially. You are fed 3 times a day (one plate per person with no seconds) and only 2 snacks per day. During the weekends you mainly sit and watch movies (by the way, no source of exercising as well). Nothing involved with recovering. The schooling is poor. Everything about this facility is terrible (from personal experience). After relapsing, I went to Caron Treatment Center in Wernersville, PA. Best decision I ever made. It was heaven compared to this facility. Do not send your child here! Send your child/loved one to Caron! Best regards.
