Meet The Staff

Dr. H. Wayne Creighton
Clinical Director

In 1993, Wayne Creighton formed Interlink Counseling Services, Inc., a non-profit organization located in the Okolona neighborhood of Louisville, KY. His goal was to foster a holistic, transitional, living facility dedicated to the physical, social, psychological, and spiritual restoration of homeless veterans around the US. Furthermore, Wayne designed Interlink to provide highly structured and accountable DUI services and marriage and family therapy in a nurturing environment. Since its initial creation, Interlink has blossomed from providing ten transitional living beds to one of the largest homeless veteran programs in the state of Kentucky with over 100 beds. Along with its previous services, Interlink Counseling Services currently provides a non-medical detoxification facility called the Landing Zone, Harmony House, a 90-day intensive treatment program, and Genesis House, a long-term transitional living facility.

Timothy White
Residential Program Director

Timothy “Tim” White joined Interlink’s case management staff in 2004. Originally from Detroit, Tim grew up in a culture full of abuse and addiction, an atmosphere that left him vulnerable to addiction. After one year at Northern Michigan University, Tim joined the Navy in 1981. During his time in the military, he served as a boson’s mate on the USS Kittyhawk. After his military service, Tim’s journey to help those recovering from addiction led him to continue his education by enrolling in a program at the San Diego City College. He ultimately earned a certification in Behavioral Science in Alcohol & Drug Studies, which is roughly equivalent to an associate degree. He has been working in the chemical dependency field for more than eleven years, and he believes in a holistic approach to recovery, treating the whole person. He also received the Kentucky Colonel’s award along with a special appreciation from the Commonwealth of Kentucky for helping mankind. Tim is currently working towards obtaining his Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) license.

I had a Dui in 2014. Now that I have went to Wayne's interlinked place for over a yea year now, I'm about to drive again. I was not court ordered to go, just simply trying to get my license back. My daughter is 16 now and wants to drive. I have learned so much about addictions I don't even have but it's been great for education. Wayne cares, lots of places don't. :-)
