We offer a full continuum of care including: Acute Medical Detoxification, Rehabilitation, Partial Hospitalization, Residential, Outpatient, and Sober Living. Our license as a Chemical Dependency Rehabilitation Hospital (CDRH) enables us to provide programs and specialty services all in one facility.

Manikanda Raja, MD, ASAM
Diplomate of American Board of Internal Medicine, Associate Medical Director

Dr. Raja is a board-certified internal medicine physician, certified by both the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Society of Addiction Medicine. He is committed to providing the highest-quality medical care to his patients. He is conscientious and compassionate with regards to all those who have been entrusted in his care. Dr. Raja values the patient-physician relationship and makes every effort to build trust and confidence as he goes to great lengths to make sure the experience is as pleasant as possible for his patients. His attention to detail ensures the valued healthcare delivered in his practice.

Aung Thu, MD, ASAM
Medical Director

Dr. Aung Thu was appointed Medical Director of the Hemet Valley Recovery Center in December 2004, and has served as an attending physician since it's opening in 2001. Dr. Thu received mentoring by the pioneering addictionists Drs. Galletta and Harsany for many years. He is certified as an Addictionist by the American Society of Addiction Medicine, is board certified in Internal Medicine, and is a Qualified Medical Evaluator, (QME). Dr. Thu graduated from the Institute of Medicine, Yangon, Myanmar in 1993, and completed postgraduate training in England. His internship and residency in Internal Medicine was completed at Lutheran Medical Center, Brooklyn, New York.
