Gospel Rescue Mission provides cost-free residential addiction recovery resources to chemically-dependent men and women struggling with homelessness, poverty, and unemployment. Through the teachings of Christ, residents receive life skills counseling on topics such as budgeting, parenting, relationships, conflict resolution, and more. Clients will also participate in individual and group counseling, accountability meetings, academic training, G.E.D. preparation, and community volunteer opportunities. Medical, dental, legal, and vocational assistance are available as well.
Detox.net is a third-party resource for consumers seeking addiction treatment. We list thousands of treatment providers throughout the U.S., often including alumni and staff ratings and reviews, and editorial reviews that provide valuable information for people making difficult decisions. Detox.net is not influenced in regards to its ratings or reviews by any treatment center or its sponsors, and we clearly designate advertiser relationships with "Sponsor" or "Ad" or "Advertisement”.
“My heart has always been to help the hungry, the needy, and the homeless. I’ve volunteered with the Salvation Army Soup Kitchen; on the Board of the Brewster Center; assembled furniture for GAP Ministries; Gospel Rescue Mission’s Adopt-A-Room and currently serve as President of their Board of Directors.” Irene added, “It is such a privilege to serve with Godly servants and constantly witness His work at the Mission. Over and over again we have witnessed God’s faithfulness and reassurances that He is always in control and continues to sit on the throne”.More
Andy stated, “The work of the Gospel Rescue Mission provides the transformation and healing that we most need. As a pastor I believe it is critical that the Christian churches of Tucson support and work in partnership with Christ-centered missions of healing and hope — we are one in Christ — and Christ commissions us to bring cold water to the thirsty, shelter and clothing to the naked and poor, and the gospel of salvation to all! As I serve and work at the mission and on the Board — I get to see the smiling face of Jesus.”More
