Treatment Center Philosophy

Destinations focuses on Family Systems Therapy at the core of our care. Family Systems Therapy is a form of psychotherapy that helps individuals resolve their problems in the context of the whole family. Each family member works together with the others to better understand their group dynamic and how their individual actions affect each other and the family unit as a whole. One of the most important premises of Family Systems Therapy is that what happens to one member of a family happens to everyone in the family.

  • She accomplished the unthinkable and to this day she wishes to continue to lead a sober life and has no desire to ever return to her previous life style. She has matured into such an incredible responsible young lady that you would hardly know her from then and now. All of this wouldn’t be possible if your team hadn’t intervened at the right time. So thank you from the bottom of my heart for all you did for my daughter.
  • It has been a journey but M is clean and sober. When she left Destinations, it wasn’t easy. She has made this transition on her own and we are quite proud of her. She has realized that her family is her support system and has been there through the thick and thin of it and always will be there for her. She has come to see the light. Destinations provided what she needed to start this recovery Journey.

My child attended both residential in Los Angeles and IOP in Las Vegas. We are very pleased with the outcome so far. Therapists and psychiatrists were knowledgeable, kind, and genuinely interested in the well being of my child. Destinations staff worked with my insurance company. Sadly insurance does not pay for enough time in either program but Destinations used the time they had well.
