Testimonials

  • "I started off an intelligent individual, did very well in school and became very successful. I started using drugs in high school and it just progressed into something for the worst. I ended up homeless and I remember looking up and wondering how my life turned into this. It’s depressing but it is my story. I was able to get through it by coming to BRS. Coming here I knew I couldn’t do this on my own. I was met by an amazing staff that took their time with me. We mostly spend our free time, helping each other. I know I have made lifelong friends here. I view addiction as a battle and I know I have overcome my battle. The recovery here has helped me find a purpose in life. Getting help is the first part of it. It’s not just about the addiction were getting down to the roots of why the addiction took place, to me it was life changing and I am able to get a second chance that I will hold close to my heart. I am able to be successful."
  • "I went to Behavioral Rehabilitation Services and didn’t plan on it. I was going through a transitional time coming out of the navy. I was in for 8 years. I have had a number of addiction problems for about 10 years. Kind of went on an alcohol Xanax binge. I was impressed when I first arrived. it was more of a holistic treatment type. It was honestly perfect for me. The Staff was very incredible and accommodating. They take a lot of time in paying attention to where everyone is at. I enjoy the community. It was a major healing facto that happened immediately when I got here. The smart class is where we spent most of the time. Its where things get more real and personal. It’s done as a group, but is still very individualized. I don’t think anyone should be skeptical about coming here. I have no pressure and it takes time and I have the time here."
  • "I came to Behavioral Rehabilitation Services because I was dealing with gambling and cocaine addiction, also mental health issues. This is my first rehab. I have been in inpatient for mental issues for long term about 4 times. I came here and was unable to take my meds, which was the best thing I’ve ever done. At one point in my life I was on 16 different meds. They wanted to give me a clean sleight to see what the bottom line was and what I was really dealing with. It’s a great facility and staff with great experience and not just here for the paycheck. My favorite part was the people. Very accepting, there’s no judgement and everyone understands this is a new start and we are here to rebuild our lives from this point on."
  • "The first time I ever used alcohol I was about 12. I had a lot of self-esteem issues and had a very traumatic experience when I was about 11. Next thing you know I was taking a shot of wild turkey before school. Binge drinking was very much a part of my alcohol use. And that is where it began. Everyone thought I was ok. They thought my life was perfect and I had everything nice job, nice shoes, nice care and great family. But inside I didn’t feel like that person. I was in such a state of depression and despair. I knew I needed help and I trusted in god to guide me to the right place. Within a couple days I knew I was in the right place. Without the consoling sessions I don’t think I could of really gotten to the root cause of what was causing my depression, just opening all the wounds and put them on the table and just let them heal naturally and on their own. The staff was definitely the most beneficial part. They all understand everything and where you are coming from. Being sober and making friends has been a tremendous experience. I’ve never felt so close to so many human beings. "

I'm still amazed at how much going to Behavioral Rehabilitation Services helped my sister. The treatment experience she had was wonderful. The place itself is beautiful with tons of open space outside and a nice comfortable feel inside. Having options regarding the different programs she could do and being able to choose for herself was a big thing for her. Having as much time as she needed to do it was also just as big. I don't know how much longer my sister would have lived if she hadn't gone to BRS.

My sister went through the program and they helped her so much. She'd been using for 20 years but it got really bad 3 years before she went to BRS. She spent 6 months at BRS and really enjoyed her time there. They helped her understand so much about her drug addiction, not just from the time it got bad but for the long time before that.

For nearly 20 years my sister has had problems with drugs. Ever since she was a teenager. Until 3 years ago though, I didn’t think of her as a drug addict. She’d use for a while, usually for around 6 months and then she’d stop by herself. Usually for around the same amount of time. When she did use she never used daily from what I could see. We all knew it was a problem but, couldn’t ever get her into rehab because as soon as our parents would start looking at places to send her, she’d stop by herself and it’s really hard getting someone to agree to go to drug rehab when they aren’t currently using drugs. She went to BRS 9 months ago, 3 years before that is when everything started going downhill. She started using more, stopped having any amount of time when she was sober and became a true drug addict. She was arrested twice for possession which turned out to be a good thing. The first time was a wake-up call for her. She finally realized that she was getting worse. The second time she was arrested she agreed to go to treatment. Our parents sent her to BRS for numerous reasons. They wanted a place where she’d be comfortable and BRS is that. It’s actually really beautiful there with a building that looks more like a lodge than a rehab. They have multiple programs there which was perfect for us. My parents have done a lot of research on addicts and recovery these last 20 years, there are so many different programs out there and they didn’t want the burden of finding the right treatment for her. This way they just had to get her there and the professionals could figure it out. BRS also doesn’t have a time based program. The people that go there are there for as long as they need to be. My sister was there for 6 months and she thrived there. She became so much happier, much less jaded with life and was easier to get along with. She’s been home for 3 months now and while we have had stretches where she was sober for this long before it’s got a completely different feeling to it this time. It’s not that she a new person or anything like that but she did change a lot while she was at BRS and all for the better. I know that as long as she keeps doing whatever it is she’s been doing she won’t use again.

Smart recovery was offered here and I was so incredibly happy about that. For anyone who does not know what smart recovery is it uses researched based methods to assist with addictive behaviors. it is more if a self-knowledge and self-empowerment type of course and I highly recommend that you give it a try if you are able. By being an active drug and alcohol user I lacked a great deal of motivation and it was nearly impossible for me to want to care about doing anything. This helped me to cope with my urges of using and feeling the need to use like clock work and By managing my thoughts and feelings I was able to drastically control my dangerous and daring behaviors and learn how to lived a well balanced life. You see when you really try to overcome something and you know that there is more that you could be doing with your life you tend to see great things that can be in store for you. It was hard and trying at times and I felt like giving up sometimes because I did not think I had it in me, but I kept on pushing through it and I am so proud that I am able to stand here today knowing that because of my accomplishments and hard work and determination I was able to start a whole knew fulfilling life.

None of the information provided on this site about brs is accurate. There are only 2 “trails”, one is actually quite nice, the other is a loop thats used as a driveway. There is no personal chef or nutritionist on staff. The food is actually horrible. Ive had better food in jail. You dont get to pick class in a “college style” manner. All classes are the same regardless of level of care. 6 hours of class a day with a 15 minute smoke break every hour. There is no psychologist on staff, just a Dr (MD?) that comes in 1-2 a week for an hour or 2. Individual counseling consists of 1 session for less than an hour once a week. There is no financial training , 12 step study, faith based anything, aromatherapy or nutrition classes. The “yoga room” is in the classrooms or outside after classes end. There is no counseler on site 24/7. Securtity can be found outside smoking in stead of watching after clients, not to mention that they are all kids, some as young as 19. Please dont waste your money on this place based on the description of this place.

They will bring you in on lies. They won't taper you off of anything like they promise. Their are private rooms only if you pay $30,000 extra. Their is no personal chef. You are better fed in a hospital. They will refuse you to call home. I spent 5 days and never seen a therapist. I never was given a massage. You won't be allowed to use the hot tub. They will leave you alone for hours and won't check your vitals even when they are aware your blood pressure got as high as 195/127. I would never recommend this place.

Driving up to the center here at behavioral rehabilitation was an experience in itself. It was such a beautiful and relaxing drive. Once arriving to the center we were greeted by an amazingly friendly employee. She was very polite and assisted my spouse in getting out of the car to walk him up to the building and called someone out to get his luggage. It was a great first impression of how the center was going to run and how the care was going to be that was given to him. After entering the building they gave him some water and had him fill out some paperwork along with getting his vitals taken. We were able to say our goodbyes and he was soon onto the recovery process. The first day was very hard for him and he was going through sever withdrawals, but he was assisted and guided along the way. Once he was stabilized and done with the detox process he was then able to begin the recovery process as a whole. They do 24 7 onsite counseling here to get to the root of the issue and underlying problems associated with the addiction process and are willing to put in as many hours needed to get to the root of the issues at hand. He learned how to cope with urges that he was getting and gained insight and knowledge on how to appropriately handle them. He was dealing with his frustration in a positive way and he was gaining control and was becoming determined on his relapse prevention goals. I just can not thank the staff enough on well cared for he was while being there. Knowing that he was in good hands also made it less stressful on me leaving because you could genuinely feel the warmth and care in their voices and on their faces when it comes to helping people.

It was overwhelming being here, but in a good way. I did not think that I was going to be able to process all the information being given to me, but they covered information in a way that it was easy for you to understand and gave you goals to work towards. Before coming here, I was struggling with finances, I was barely able to hold down a job and I could not stay away from people that were leading me in the wrong direction. Since being here and working with professional staff members I realized that I was not alone in this and I was able to find support from others within the groups that I was attending. I was under the impression that once I completed the program I would be good, but I soon realized that I had a lot more effort to put in once I left if I wanted to remain on the road to recovery. This was a great path to start the process of overcoming addiction. They had great security, a caring and compassionate staff and all around a great place to be.

My husband went to BRS 9 months ago and it's amazing how much it helped him. 2 years ago, my husband had back surgery and wasn’t able to get off the medication his doctor prescribed. When we chose BRS it was because the facility was set up with older professionals in mind. It was a beautiful building and the property it sits on is so peaceful. We were able to get him his own room which was a huge selling point for him. During my husband’s stay at BRS he was treated with respect. The staff understood how hard it could be to get off the medication his doctor had prescribed for pain and never made him feel like he was less because he couldn’t do it himself. I was so worried when my husband first got there that I must have called every day for the first week and the people I spoke with were kind and patient with me, never brushed me off because they had answered the same question just the day before. They took the time to explain everything that my husband was going through until I could actually understand what it was like for him. Going through the program at BRS was great for my husband. It’s probably the only time in the last 20 years that he took some time just for himself and while he was able to get off the medication he also had a great time there. He enjoyed the trips that the clients went on each week, he really liked the food and he loved the staff there. He came home 6 months ago and has been doing wonderful. He’s not on any medication but he’s also happier than I’ve seen him in years. He’s smiling more and is content with his life again.

Strengths:The program and the staff Weakness:Could be more decorated the place. Just a few words to say about behavioral rehab services. I was totally against going to rehab because I thought how could it be that just cause I go away from home and be closed in with some strangers could benefit me? I was wrong! I would highly recommend Behavioral rehab . The staff were really great, they were very service oriented with all the clients and very professional too. The living arrangements were correct. We had fun together, worked out together and cooked. It brought people together like a family and showed real values. My individual therapist was just the best I could have asked for. I have a whole new look on life because of him. He taught me so much. He brought me back to the real me. I have my family back, I have a very good job. And most important!! I'm back to the real me. I would have never imagined that I can again feel this good, and enjoy the good things in life. Behavioral rehab taught me what it's like to have integrity, honor and respect again. And how to live a sober and happy life! Thank you everyone at behavioral, you not only saved my life but gave me back my life. I am forever grateful and honored to have been a part of The family at behavioral rehab services!

Strengths:Their patience to everyone Weakness:Could more extra activities. I went to behavioral rehab services from January to February 2017 and I am very happy I did. The facility is located in Harrison so it was nice to be in a occluded area, just the view is magnificent, very welcoming. The staff at Brs was very caring and compassionate. Right from the start I was made aware of the rules I was to follow and It wasn't an issue for me for the entirety of my stay. The beds are extremely comfortable and the food is very good. You will often be given a choice of a main dish and they always offered side salads. They offer morning Yoga and I really utilized the exercise groups and gained a lot of muscle and endurance thanks to this. The therapy groups are very helpful to focus on the keys to overcoming your addiction. Each day your therapist works on issues out of the curriculum and this includes group activities. You have individual sessions with your therapist and case manager to address personal issues you have during and post treatment . 12 step recovery is also incorporated but not limited into the curriculum to give you that aspect as well. I had an excellent therapist and case manager. Over all i learned many things about myself, my life, and I am satisfied. Its gonna be soon my 6 months soberness, and I feel like with time its getting easier. Thanks to the center for their excellent job.

What a great treatment center! I am thrilled with the services and the level of care and help that my family got from Behavioral Rehabilitation Services. The Behavioral Rehabilitation Services was the treatment center that my daughter Janice graduated from about two months ago. She has been an entirely different person and has been a dream to be around since then. It’s like she was never an addict before, with how she is acting now. She has completely changed and has not a hint of her old ways any more. Janice had been to multiple different rehab centers before, and she had never been clean and sober for more than a few weeks after going to a treatment center. She had been to at least three different rehab programs prior to going to Behavioral Rehabilitation Services too, and none of them had given her more than a few weeks of peace from her various addictions. Behavioral Rehabilitation Services was different though. This treatment center offered what they call an open ended, multi-modality approach, one of which is especially helpful and assistive in getting people off of drugs and alcohol. The program uses a variety of different treatment approaches that are all designed to assist people in going free from substance abuse. They use more than eight different treatment approaches, whereas most recovery centers only use one or two. Also, Behavioral Rehabilitation Services offers an open-ended, results based approach for their clients which allows them to stay on for longer periods of time if needed. Unlike with most testament centers that only provide services for a specific length of time, Behavioral Rehabilitation Services is able to offer services for longer periods of time, which is very helpful and very supportive for the clients themselves. Behavioral Rehabilitation Services is a great rehab center. I have no complaints regarding them at all. I would even go so far as to say that this rehab center is the reason that my daughter is alive today. She finally made it into a level of care and stability that is lasting and permanent and we have Behavioral Rehabilitation Services to thank for it.

Very nice staff who are completely un judgemental It is pricey If it werent for Behavioral rehab services I would have lost my family and my job. Initially I was fearful of getting treated because I though Id be treated like a prisoner but everyone here treated me as if I were family. The facility felt like my home away from home. I had such a great experience here, the staff is phenomenal and the amenities are the icing on the cake. I really felt for the first time since a very long time like a normal person who is not a criminal. This gave me hope that I actually can handle my life and get it back on track. I have to say that I am still in a shock at how well my treatment went, and I can almost not believe it that it has been 3 months that I haven't touched anything. This is the longest I have been clean for ever since I started using, and I feel very stable and I do not think that I will eve have to go back to treatment. The individualized care that I have gotten from all the staff was fantastic. Everyone that I met was so nice to me, it really felt like I was family, and I still talk to some of them. It is nice they sincerely care about you, and want you to do w ll in life, and after you leave thy still keep in touch. If you are hesitating, I am recommending behavioral rehab to everyone.

Very effective with great results Pricey Behavioral rehab services is really a place I would recommend to people. If you think that you are ready to get help, and you want to get off drugs, than you should chooses brs. I had a very close friend who received help from them, and he changed so much after his treatments, i think he stayed like 2 months. So basically you stay as long as you need to really get well and recover. They are not like conventional rehabs, as to say, they are really looking for results. Ans this is the best attitude rehabs should have, to look for results. First they got him through detox that is at their promises, so you do everything on sight. And than he moved to the rehab part, that consisted of different parts, like group meetings and one on one counseling, and the 12 steps program. They did do go out of the rehab too, they had different activities, with the whole group. He said that the peer support was really great, they would always push each other and he made some good friends. The staff are very professional and very educated and competent in their job. When you get to the rehab, you can actually choose from the different programs they offer, so you are not forced to do something you disagree with. They keep in touch with the family too, very important!

My brother went to Behavioral Rehabilitation Services. This rehab center saved his life, of that I am sure. He went there eight months ago, and he has been a completely changed person since then. He has had no relapses, and he has been totally stable in his recovery too. My brother has been to rehab before, and he has never been able to archive a level of recovery and abstinence that he has now and that he got from Behavioral Rehabilitation Services. This rehab center tailor created a program for him that was immensely helpful and specifically designed to help my brother with the types of assistance and care that he needed to win the battle against drug and alcohol addiction once and for all and for good. This rehab center was the first one that was actually able to help him find his underlying issues and vanquish them permanently. The program at Behavioral Rehabilitation Services treated their clients one on one and in a very unique fashion. I was really pleased with that. This was a very much so one on one, individual treatment approach, not a cookie cutter, line size fits all rehab approach. I was very pleased with the program and how it was able to help him, giving him a level of sobriety that he could not get anywhere else. I was very pleased with the results that we got at Behavioral Rehabilitation Services. I did not go to thew rehab center myself, so I can’t speak to the specific details of the program, but I can say that they saved my brother’s life and that he is a changed man because of it. I think a combination of the excellent program, the caring staff, and the stellar facility all combined to make it all great. I would definitely recommend Behavioral Rehabilitation Services to anyone and everyone who was seeking help for an addiction struggle. Behavioral Rehabilitation Services really knows what they are doing and can provide excellent and professional helping options to their clients!

Environment and counseling Price This is a wonderful place to send your loved one who is in need of help fighting their addiction problems. The unconditional help they provided is a top notch. Their counseling was very effective. I went to behavioral rehab services with my my alcohol problem. This is an addiction worst than drugs, and I have been fighting it for years, sometimes I was well sometimes not at all. I have tried other rehab centers, mainly out patient once, but never an inpatient. I though I should give it a try, since I heard only good things about them, and the place seemed very pleasing. Well I was positively surprised from the first minute on. I absolutely do not regret going there and doing their program. I feel like that they managed to get me back to my old new self, and I am a renewed person, with all these goals and energy, that I have lost for a long time. I really enjoyed the 12 step program and all the other extra activities. Mainly thanks for the yoga, that kept my nerves in place and liberated my spirit. I had a wonderful counselor, she listened to me and helped me through so much. I really enjoyed out free times with the peers, I loved sharing with them. The place is gorgeous, only that in itself has a rehabilitative quality. Do not hesitate to give them a call in case you still have doubts to go there for treatment. Thank you guys for your work, I am a new person now!

Treatment and choice if different methods Accomodations My experience with Behavioral rehab services was superb! The staff was welcoming and friendly, and all of their therapeutic programs were just what I needed and really helped me adapt a sober life. I actually miss all the recreational activities that the facility had to offer and I think those were a great help for all the clients struggling with their addictions. Besides that, I got to learn a lot of different skills from basic money saving and management techniques to cooking and arts, the whole experience was really what I needed. I would definitely recommend this facility to all the addicts out there who want to change their lives and want to learn a lot during that process. I want to sincerely thank my case manager who was always there for me, especially when I wanted to leave Brs. She made sense to me and reminded me of why I came here in the first place. If it wasn't for her, I do not know if I would be able to say that I am not clean and sober! In fact, all of the staff was truly kind to me including nursing, kitchen staff and everyone else. I made some great friends and am proud to be part of the BRS family. Thank you all!

Behavioral Rehabilitation is a remote place almost in the middle of the most peaceful place ever. It is a well maintained establishment and it is very clean and has some great accreditation's. You are surrounded by acres of beautiful wooded property and almost a sense of calm comes over you once you get here. It is really unlike anything that i ever thought I would be ale to experience while getting help with my addiction. I came from a great family and morals and over the years was blesses to have a family over the years and a great career and this illness that had overcome me was beginning to interfere with everything along with being face that my family was falling apart and I was looking at being left without them had I not gotten the help that I knew I needed. I had worked for so long to achieve the things that i had in life and because of some senseless decisions that I was making I was loosing everything. I was willing to get help but I have read some horror stories about some of these places where you are more or less just thrown into a room with people and left to figure things out on your own more or less and or fight for your counselors attention because they have so many people to deal with at one time there is not enough one on one time for them to dedicate to you directly. I did not want to waste my time on something like that, and I did not want to be in a place that seemed like it had a revolving door, just to get you in and out without really working with you on anything just so they could get in the next individual for a profit. I also did not want a place that was going to have you leave when you weren't ready to go. This place that my husband found was not like any of those places and I think that is why I felt so calm once I got here. Obviously I was nervous and many other emotions but it really all dwindled away once getting here. The staff first of all is immaculate, they are so nice and positive and respectful and in no way shape or form look down on you in any way for the things that are going on in your life and their main focus it to really take the time to learn about you and your struggles so that they can properly take the time in deciding what is going to be best for you as far as treatment is concerned. Not once did I feel degraded or out of place, I felt as though I was just important as the next person that came in for an addiction and the person before me. They really know how to treat people here. Their main goal is to help you be the best you that you can be and make you strong to face the world again once you leave clean and sober and drug free. Aside from how great the counseling and staff is that is working with you on a daily basis, the kitchen staff and cook is also great. They have a private chef that not only communicates and tends to those that may have allergies to some things but he also works with us all in terms of a healthy diet and meal plans. Aside from the private chef there is also a personal trainer on site to help you train and learn and get insight on your body and keeping it healthy as well. It is like this amazing team or highly trained individuals that have all come together to be able to give the best support and understanding and help into your addiction problem that you can not help but to be successful once you leave here. They offer vitamins, minerals, acupuncture, massages, aroma therapy and many other things that you would not know were even available in terms of recovery. One of the last things that i enjoyed about this place was the fact that they did not take away one drug for another, you have to be aware that this is not a drug replacement program and if that is what you are looking for I suggest that you evaluate your options and what is best and for me I knew that I did not want to be off one drug just to be placed on another one. To me that was not helping me recover from an addiction but more or less masking the problem with something else as a coping mechanism and that to me was not beneficial. There are a lot of programs out there I am aware of the but none of them compare to this one and what it has to offer. I thank my husband on a daily basis for taking the time to research this place and helping me to get my life back not only for him and our children but more so for me so that I could overcome this horrible time in my life and get back on track with the tools and techniques that i needed and was lacking in the beginning to be able to stay clean and sober. I encourage anyone with an addiction to give this place a call and I pray that it will save your life as it has mine. Each day is precious and a gift we should do anything to we can to see the true value and meaning of living life to the fullest.

I wish I had found a place like Behavioral Rehabilitation Services when I first started using instead of 7 years later. It would have saved my family and I a lot of heartache. When my son was 2 years old I started taking pain pills. I’ve had migraines my whole life but they got extremely bad around that time and with a child I wasn’t able to just lay down for an entire day. My doctor prescribed me my regular migraine medication and some Vicodin. There were times when I would wake up with a migraine for days in a row and my tolerance for Vicodin became higher and higher while my migraines became more and more frequent. My doctor went from prescribing me Vicodin to Percocet to Roxicodone and the number of pills he was prescribing became higher and higher. Within 2 years I was a complete mess. My husband knew I was taking the pain medication and we could both see that it was becoming more and more of a problem. However, with the fact that I was in almost constant pain I couldn’t see any solution to the problem. The reason I started taking the pain meds was so that I could function and take care of our child when I had a migraine. As my habit became worse and worse we decided that I couldn’t really be trusted to take care of our child by myself and we started hiring a nanny to help me take care of our child. When we decided on this the reason I started taking the pain meds wasn’t there anymore. I couldn’t take care of our son when I had a migraine but I also couldn’t take care of him when I was taking the pain meds. At first I tried to stop taking the pills cold turkey. I couldn’t do it like that so we tried weaning me off them at home and that was a bad idea. I love my husband but that week where we tried to wean me off the pills almost killed our marriage. We realized that if we wanted to save our marriage I would have to go somewhere else to detox and so we found a place for me to detox. I was there for a week and a half and when I came home I had been off everything for 2 days. It was another 2 days before I started using my meds again. I think the only reason I’m still married to my husband today is that I never lied to him about what was going on. I never hid the pills I was taking or anything like that. It was when I started using the meds again that I realized I was well and truly a drug addict. Before that, I was in complete denial about that fact. I had thought that once I was off the pain meds I would completely okay with not using them again. It didn’t work out that way and 2 months later I was in my first rehab. I was a horrible person to everyone there. I was still under the impression that I wasn’t really a drug addict. Most of the other patients at the rehab I was at were there for heroin or meth or something like that. For some reason that made me think I was better than them when that really wasn’t the case at all. I relapsed after that rehab and the next 3 rehabs after that. Behavioral Rehabilitation Services was the 5th rehab I have been to. I got more help at BRS than at all the other rehabs combined. The facility is really beautiful and the staff there are wonderful. They made me confront my life and my addiction in a way that no one else has done before. They didn’t let me delude myself into thinking that my addiction wasn’t as bad as it was. After the 4 rehabs I had been to previously you would think that I would have confronted the fact that I was truly addicted to drugs. I hadn’t though, not at all. What was great about BRS is that while they made me confront my addiction head on they did it in a way that I was comfortable with and because of that I was able to get much more out of my program at BRS. At BRS I felt that I was understood so much better. Whether I was talking to my counselor one on one or whether I was in a group I felt like I could talk and be understood. I got the help I needed when I was at Behavioral Rehabilitation Services and because of that I able to take an active part in my son’s life. For the first time in years I’m being a mother and a wife. After so many failed attempts at rehab I feel like I’m in control of my life again.

What an experience! I feel like a totally new person thanks to my experience at Behavioral Rehabilitation Services. This rehab center was unlike anything I had ever experienced before. What a trip! I have been struggling with an addiction to prescription drugs and alcohol off and on for almost a decade now. I had been to two other rehab centers before this one but they were not anything like it. This treatment center was truly special and interesting. I got a lot of one on one attention at Behavioral Rehabilitation Services. This center treated me like a sophisticated adult which I really appreciated. This treatment center helped me to find a level of sobriety that I was not able to find at the other two rehab centers. At Behavioral Rehabilitation Services, I was also able to pick and choose which approaches to addiction treatment that I was going to get, and which ones would be left to the side. This helped me get more done in less time, because I was able to focus on the therapies and the treatment methods that worked for me and that were only the successful ones, not the ones that would not help me. I would strongly recommend Behavioral Rehabilitation Services to anyone who was suffering with drug and alcohol addiction. This rehab center was a huge force of change in my life that I will not forget anytime soon. I don’t think I would still be here today if it was not for them. I would strongly recommend this treatment center to anyone who has been struggling with addiction, especially people who have not been able to beat their addiction problems with other rehab centers. Behavioral Rehabilitation Services is a cure all! My hat is off to them and I wish them greatness!

Behavioral rehabilitation services is really a great rehab with amazing staff member who are very caring. I went there cause i had a prescription drug addiction, and it has gotten quite out of hand. I was really adducted. At first it started if course cause I had a surgery after I broke my leg, and so I got painkillers, and than I took quite a lot at the beginning, cause i could not stand the pain, than I could not stop, cause when I did I felt more sick, so yes I became addicted. This was bad, really bad actually, all I was into before I went out was to take my pills before, and I couldn\'t be without taking them. As my family and friends noticed, I was weird, acting strange, spent too much time in the bathroom, and so on, I was hiding it of course. Than I told my big brother about it and he said I need to get help, I agreed, it got really out of hand. I went to behavioral rehab services and I really felt good already when I arrived. The place is really nice, it felt like I was on vacation, and when my family visited, honestly they were positively surprised. They liked the place too, and it was nice they could come and visit. It is important cause I did no feel like I was in some hospital or prison, they made me feel good there and they did not judge me. I was there cause I wanted to get help, and honestly I dud get very good help. I got off the pills, and I learned about many things and git personal counseling and fixed some issues I had. It felt really good again to be myself again. It was also nice to do activities and different courses with the guys who were there too, some of them I still talk to. And also some staff I became friends with, we chat time to time. The rooms were really nice too where I stayed, and I also enjoyed the food, there was always a new menu, so they really payed attention to every detail, to make sure we were good and paid more attention to our recovery. All the staff were super nice and very professional, I say if you wanna get off drugs, don\'t hesitate to go to behavioral rehab services, they gonna help you through it.

I’d like to share my story regarding my experience at Behavioral Rehabilitation Services. I was really pleased with the services and the level of care and help that I got at this rehab center. This was a truly helpful and wonderful addiction treatment center. I was amazed at how much help and how much care I got from going to this rehab center to beat addiction. It was a hardship and a crisis trying to effectively and permanently beat addiction once and for all, but I was finally able to do it with the help of Behavioral Rehabilitation Services. To make it clear, I’ll go over the three best things I noticed about this rehab center that I feel made a difference for me. They are: The detox approach. I’ve been to rehab before, so this was not my first rodeo by any means at all. With detox approaches I’ve been through in the past I’ve noticed that they are kind of rushed, and for some reason you always leave the detox still feeling like you are craving your fix. This was definitely the case when I had left other detox programs in the past, but not so much with Behavioral Rehabilitation Services. At Behavioral Rehabilitation Services, I got a long, lengthy, comfortable, well conducted detox program that took longer than two weeks. It was excellent, with massages, vitamins, exercise, walks, proper nutrition from their kitchen, physical therapy, the works. Talk about an excellent detox. The rehab approach itself. I really feel like I got a lot of individualized attention at Behavioral Rehabilitation Services, and that would probably be the one thing I would say out of literally everything that made this rehab center different. I was able to sit down with my case manager and work out together a customized, workable, and overall very helpful approach to addressing my addiction newly and effectively this time around. We added to my day to day schedule approaches that were working, and we subtracted ones that I did not like or that didn’t work. I was able to customize and tailor make my treatment approach with the help and advice of my case manager. The aftercare approach. Never have I ever been to a rehab center that kept tabs and continued to help me for so long after I graduated the program. It has been literally over a year since I graduated from Behavioral Rehabilitation Services and I still get a call from them once a week to check in on me and see how I’m doing. Also, right after I graduated, they were able to help me find an outpatient counseling and support group in my hometown. They looked into the center and qualified it for me. I’ve been going there for support sessions and counseling once a week since I graduated, and my counselor there is in touch with my case manager back at Behavioral Rehabilitation Services. These three points are very strong at Behavioral Rehabilitation Services. I honestly couldn’t say that there was anything wrong with the rehab program. At least, nothing that I can remember or that stands out. Really, the center seemed like a great program that was effective and workable for all who went there. I really would recommend this program strongly to anyone who was trying to beat addiction once and for all.

Let me start of that I can only thank to behavioral rehab services that I am here now, and where I stand now thanks to them. Without them I might not even be alive. I have been a drug addict for the last few years and I have tried everything under the sun. I have overdosed numerous times, and I have already given up on life. I have been to rehabs, but they were not at all successful, to say the least. My last over dose was a brutal one, and I think that something clicked in me, and I realized I am too young to die and I still have all my life ahead of me and only if I could get off these horrible drugs, I could be happy again. I asked my parents to help me find this time really a rehab that is different and that truly gets you clean for the long run. So we were looking, and heard good things about this place. I looked at the photos, and it really seemed like a nice place. Well it definitely is. It reminds me of these mountain cabins we used to go with my parents when I was a kid, so i fell in loge with the place immediately. It is so calm, and you get the nature, and you instantly feel like it is all gonna go well. The good thing is you don\'t feel like you are in some hospital grade rehab, where you are just one of many. You feel like you are an individual who is different and has different needs, not everyone is the same. I got to choose my programs, and if I didn\'t like to do something, I was not forced to do it. Oh and the detox, I mean it was hard, but the one difference that I saw was that they did only holistic methods to get me through it, cause there is no point getting myself on some other pills to not use any kinda street drug. Essentially that would be the same. So that was a great start, hard but this is the actually way you gonna be off drugs for real. And I have to tell you that the staff were really really knowledgeable and competent and very caring and nice, and they didn\'t just let me suffer, there was always someone caring about me. Throughout the entire program it went like this. I enjoyed it quite a bit. Also the fact that at 30 days it was not like, okay bye you are done with 30 days you go now, but made sure you are ready, and I was not. This time I really wanted to do it the right way, so I stayed, and got to work in those points and things that I felt were not addressed enough. And you know that is a fantastic thing, that again they don\'t put you in this pox and label you \"addict\" but you are a person, who had some issues that caused you to use drugs, but you still are a good person, and that I really loved. Thank you to all of you for this, now 3 months have gone by since I came home, and I am sober and going to continue to be!

My husband went through the program at Behavioral Rehabilitation Services. 9 months ago he was in a really bad car accident and was prescribed pain medication. Over the next 6 months I knew he was taking his pain medication. I knew he was getting his prescriptions refilled regularly and I didn’t think much of it. He has never had any kind of problem with drugs or alcohol and I honestly didn’t think that at this point in our lives it would happen. I realized he had a problem when he told me that he had a problem. He came to me after he had called Behavioral Rehabilitation Services and set up everything for his stay. When he told me that he was going at first I thought he was just making his taking the pain medication into a bigger problem than it was. Then he got out his prescription history to show me. He was refilling his prescription sooner than he should have and over his last two appointments his prescription had increased in the number of pills given and the strength of each pill. He told me that he had also tried to get off of them by himself and it just wasn’t something he was able to do. I didn’t know before this happened that you could get addicted to something so easily. I have a couple friends who have gone through a drug addiction with a child and whenever we talked about it, everything was going just so wrong in their lives and the lives of their child. I know it was wrong but to a degree I thought if I had something like that happen to anyone in my family it would be really noticeable. It wasn’t at all and I am extremely lucky that my husband was able to realize that he needed a bit of help and found a place himself and sorted out all the details before telling me about it. Behavioral Rehabilitation Services was such a wonderful place for my husband to go. They were extremely professional and treated my husband with respect and dignity. My husband did well there and has done well since coming back home. He hasn’t taken any pain medication and has worked out how he can deal with the residual pain of his car accident without resorting to pain medication. He started getting massages while at BRS and has continued to do so since he’s been home. It’s helped a lot with his pain and I’m glad my husband is back and doing well.

Behavioral Rehabilitation Services is a stellar rehabilitation center. I’ve been to rehab before, twice actually, and neither program could hold a candle to BRS. This rehab center offers a luxurious and very pleasant environment, but it also creates an atmosphere that is all about recovery, rehabilitation, hard work, and a dedication to abstinence that just wasn’t there at the previous centers I had gone to. I didn’t think it would be possible to combine a luxury rehab center with a dedicated, lengthy, and all encompassing program, but this rehab center does just that. My experience with luxury rehabs has been that they are a great vacation, but they are just that, a vacation. Nothing more, nothing less. Behavioral Rehabilitation Services operates off of a very lengthy and very extensive rehab program that has one goal in mind, and that is the goal of rehabilitating and effectively curing those who are addicted to drugs and alcohol and who are afflicted with this habit. What really impressed me about Behavioral Rehabilitation Services was the intensive amount of care, compassion, and love awarded to us clients by the staff. You can really tell that the staff are handpicked for their warm, friendly attitude and their incessant need to help others and see that others get the treatment and the effective approaches that they need. I could not be more pleased with them and with everything that they are doing. They certainly saved my life and the lives of many whom I know. Behavioral Rehabilitation Services operates off of two main functions, the first being SMART Recovery, (a wonderful approach to rehabilitation), and the second being communication skills and general life skills. These all together really made a big difference for me and had a large impact on my life and my happiness in a very positive way. My course through Behavioral Rehabilitation Services had a lot of other aspects and activities to it as well, but these were the main ones. Talk about a wonder of pleasantries and happiness. I took Yoga classes while there, engaged in about a half a dozen other electives and study programs, and even had some time in the evenings to walk through the forests and fields surrounding the center. It was a fulfilling experience to say the least, and I have been sober for over a year because of them, something I could not have accomplished at any other center I feel. My hat is off to Behavioral Rehabilitation Services and I have them to thank for so much. I strongly recommend this program to anyone who is interested in winning the battle against addiction once and for all, and I hope anyone who wants to tackle and hopefully win against their addiction crisis will contact Behavioral Rehabilitation Services and make the first step in accomplishing such a goal. My entire family extends their deepest thanks to Behavioral Rehabilitation Services. I would not be here today if it weren\'t for them, and of that I am quite sure. This is a wonderful rehab center, and they will always be in my heart.

Beautiful Facility, knowledgeable and caring staff, great food, lots of amenities, if you have kids the facility is really nice place for them to visit, doesn't feel like a rehab, the food is really good. None that I know of. I owe my brother’s life to Behavioral Rehabilitation Services. When he first arrived at BRS he was in pretty rough shape. I had never seen him look so bad. He had been to rehab a couple times previously and I honestly didn’t have high hopes for him when he went to BRS. The change he went through as he went through the program there was so drastic and as he got back to being more and more the brother I remember I started really hoping that it would stick this time and that I would have my brother back for good. It’s not so much that it “stuck” this time as the program along with the counselors at BRS helped him in a way that I didn’t think was possible. Every time he had ever been through rehab before when he finished his 30 days and would come home he wasn’t happy and he always told me that it was just through sheer willpower that he’d be able to stay clean. He was never confident in himself or his ability to stay clean and because of it whenever he was clean for a period of time after each rehab he had gone to he was miserable and you could see how everyday was a little worse and a little harder to get through than the last. After he finished BRS he looked happy. Really, truly happy for the first time since he had started using. The staff at BRS treated him like family and worked with him to figure out what started his drug use. They really got to the root of his problem. The first time I saw him after he had gone there was over Christmas. My kid wanted to see her uncle and so we went up to the facility. It’s beautiful there. It’s in a really remote location and with the building and everything around it, it looked so peaceful there. My kid loved the place. We went up on Christmas day and the staff at BRS had created family games to play where they got little prizes. She played air hockey and pool with her uncle. She ran around the place like it was a lodge she was exploring and she had a blast exploring and playing with her uncle. It was the first time since my child had been born where I felt comfortable leaving her alone with her uncle. One of the really great things about BRS was that the people working there on Christmas day didn’t seem put out by having to work on a holiday. No one was unhappy to be there and it showed. My kid is an extremely picky eater, she doesn’t like much and yet she ate a full plate of food there and went back for seconds. I thought it was just because it was a holiday, it wasn’t. When we back up a few weeks later the food was still really good. My brother actually raved about the food there on more than one occasion and I actually became a bit jealous of the meals he was eating. My brother still talks to the people who he went through the program with and he stills calls the counselor there all the time. Sometimes, it’s just to say hi and sometimes when he’s had a bad day he calls one of his counselors there. They always have time to talk to him and have never brushed him off. I cannot stress enough how wonderful it is to have my brother back. My whole family is healed in a way I never thought possible and now 7 almost 8 months later my brother is still doing great and we are all so very grateful for that.
